Never heard the music of Annie Sachs, but you have to love her stage name. Probably not even remotely newsworthy, but I thought it would be fun to pass along here. 😉

I was doing some research just yesterday on local shows to catch when I noticed her. She's gonna be playing at a local venue next week, I think?

Even if I wasn't an acaraphiliac I'd think it's a good band name. I like band names that play towards the senses.

First mention I saw of her came from a the Baltimore-based alternative weekly, The City Paper. Seems fun. That, and she really is kinda hawt. Jusssayin' I've noticed. 😀

I happened to check out that MySpace page of hers that's linked through the article. As chance has it, she's in Baltimore tonight and Charlottesville tomorrow. Seems to travel the Northeastern corridor quite a bit, so chances are they won't be her last shows. I did actually check out a few of her tracks while I was there. Extremely indie. Definitely an acquired taste.
