At this point, i think its the Pats and the Giants. Jets proved they blow. before this week, i would have given the edge to the Jets.

Best team in the AFC no one is talking about...

5-2. Big turnaround from last year.

No one's talking about them because they haven't beaten anyone and their schedule is pretty weak. They clearly have improved and have the best running game in the league, but the way you enter the conversation is by beating the teams who show up every year.

Whatever happens to them this season, I hope they can continue to progress from here.

They are getting better with each game. They will beat Indy next time they meet, and Peyton was shut down by the KC D, but couldn't close the deal. I'm tired of my team being door mats year and year out, and with the new management in place, the Chiefs will finally get respect.

And they aren't media darlings either, like those Cowboys.

The way this year is going I say let anyone who wants pound there chest about there team do so, cause in 2 weeks they may not be doing so. This year the NFL has the best roller coaster out there puts Six Flags to shame.

Yep. try betting on football the way its going this year. has to be the most inconsistant betting year as long as i can remember. :panic:

Hey the bookies need to put there kids though college too lol

The Giants are frauds. They haven't beaten a good team, and the good teams they've played, Indianapolis, Tennessee, ate their lunch. Don't believe the hype on them or Houston. Both frauds.

I'd like to say the Ravens, because they're my favorite team, but even though they're 5-2, they haven't been all that impressive. Yeah they beat Pittsburgh and the Jets, but the Steelers were without Roethlessberger, and the Jets were without Revis. Plus we barely beat the worst team in the league (Buffalo) in OT. I'd have to say the Pats, Steelers, and Jets(even though they laid an egg this past Sunday) are the 3 best teams in the NFL.

I'll take the Giants in the NFC. The only other teams that have a chance to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl are Green Bay, New Orleans, and Atlanta. We still don't know how these teams will perform throughout the second half of the season.

The AFC probably has the best four-or-five teams in football. The top tier includes New England and Pittsburgh. The tier below that includes the Jets, Indianapolis, and Baltimore. And the third tier includes Kansas City, Tennessee, and Oakland. Again, who knows how this will unfold 9-weeks from now.

Correct me if I am wrong...didn't the Jets beat the Patriots earlier this year? Souldnt that right there tell you that these two teams are at least on par with each other.

No question Indy beat them in all aspects, however, you really can't say that Tennessee beat them. In that game they mostly beat themselves with penalties and turnovers. Granted, Tennessee capitalized but that game was handed to them on a silver platter.

The Jets are much improved from last year and last week was an off week. Normally, the receivers are much better than they showed last week, How many balls did they drop on Sanchez?

All right, allow me to set everyone straight . . .

Unless someone dethrones the champs, you can't count out the Saints. Make no mistake, once they get healthy (getting both starting RB back - Pierre, Reggie - and the rest of their defense, including both starting CB and FS) after their bye week next, they should be team-to-beat in the NFC.

Sure, the Falcons be tough and Giants look fierce, and the Packers need to get healthy as well - making the NFC wide OPEN - so by default, you gotta stick with the CHAMPS.

In the AFC, its among the Ravens or Colts or Patriots or ?Steelers (whom the Saints just beat). Gun-to-my-head, I'd go with Ray Lewis and his Old Spice.

The best team in the AFC: Patriots.

The best team in the NFC: Falcons

I think at this point you got the AFC part WRONG!

This just in:

Cleveland 34

Patriots 14

WHAT?!?!?

I guess that the Pats proved they BLOW too! At least the Jets lost to a team with a winning record.

The Pats the best in the AFC???? Really???? REALLY??? Are you serious? The Pats the best in the AFC???? :bwahaha: :rowfull: :laughhard:

I guess you are entitled to your opinion no matter how much of a homer or an idiot you sound like! :roflmao:

It's one game. The Patriots very well could be the best team in the AFC. There one of the best teams in the conference at the very least.

It's fun to read the earlier post to see who thinks has the best team just to watch them lose or need OT to win. More so this year then ever before but any given week anyone can beat anyone. This week should MAYBE help some with Balt/Atl on Thursday and NE /Pitt on Sunday. I'm starting something new pickin the weeks upset game Dallas over Giants ok when you stop laughing so hard think about it what a statement that would make for Dallas catching the Giants taking a easy week with that huge win in Seattle.

Very tough to call this year.. Going to go with the pats for the AFC, Brady is playing like Brady can play. Very impressive victory picking apart pitts defense. The Jets definely look to present a threat. NFC I think I'm going to say packers. Their three loses were only by 3 points, all by respectable teams, two of which where push to over time. But if Vick stays health and continues to play like he is playing then, Wow.
