Best Villain of all Times

Sorry for the spoiler reveal but trust me Karen, that part is good but not the best and that part is about the half way mark.

Okay so maybe it is one of the best parts... sorry for ruining the anime for you. 😛

To manipulate countless people and events to bend to your desire, without using any physical violence or intimidation, it's something I admire more in a villain than pure cruelty. My opinion is that any villain can be cruel, even Marche cruel, but it takes a special kind of villain to be so cunning and deceptive so to manipulate people and events yet deflect blame onto someone else or away entirely... prolly why everyone has a different opinion of best villain. This question has become equivalent to asking who the best artist here is: everyone has different tastes.

I find Kira to be the best villain, right up there with Emperor Palpatine.

Certain characters aren't politically correct anymore, but I still love them as great villains. Case-in-point: Sax Rohmer's Fu Manchu(see attachment). This diabolical villain happens to be Asian, but the really cool thing about old Fu are the many and varied cruel and crazy ways he came up with to dispose of his enemies. His captives had to die slowly, and his schemes were rarely cost-effective.

I don't know if anyone has ever written any tickling stories utilizing Fu Manchu as the main baddie, but I'd be interested in reading them, if there are some out there.

Deadpool. Greatest villain ever. Friggin hilarious, damn near invincible (And he can't die...Nice little trick), and pretty damn powerful. YAY!

I think the best villain is Tim Curry as Darkness in the movie Legend. If you haven't seen it, it's an older fantasy moving starring Tom Cruise, I forget the chicks name, and Tim Curry. Good stuff. There are others that certainly merit being mentioned...Dr. Hill from Re-Animator, Bricktop from Snatch, and I was always kind of partial to the devil in Day of the Beast.

LOL someone got into politics now... we are all doomed now. What would happen if Bush saw this post up there... that would be funny considering the fact that he would be one of us (or atleast his secret service) and he is made as the greatest villain... 😀
