what do you mean as best? as the most skilled wrestler as far as the technical aspect goes? entertaining? mic skills?

I remember going apeshit when at wcw nitro in chicago, muta came out during his nwo stint

Without Hogan, WWF never exists the way it is now.

You think WWF woulda got mainstream with Andre as the headliner in his declining health? Hogan brought in hollywood and brought in the fans. Warrior did not have the charisma nor the brainpower to carry the company. Savage was big but only when complimented to Hogan

WWF\E would not have its movie distribution and slew of horrible wrestler actor movies without Hogan starting it all

as for your comment on WM III, yes the match wasnt amazing but with andre, it was the best at that time he could give

Yes it wasnt a ricky steamboat\Rick Rude match but it was billed as Andre, undefeated giant vs Hulk Hogan. Former close friends who turned enemy thanks to Dibiase and Heenan. It was the passing of the old guard to the new one. Plus, no one ever slammed Andre, so it was a big thing. It was hellofalot better and more important than lex lugers hiptoss of yokozuna

as a wrestling fan you should know him... i would love to go to a show in japan and see him wrestle... the match between he and angle 1 or 2 yrs ago was one of the best ever

This confuses me greatly. By real, did you mean the original Rey Mysterio, Oscar's uncle? Because Oscar Gutierrez has always been Rey Jr. His uncle allowed him to use the name Rey Mysterio Jr. What WWE has done is dropped the "Jr" from the name, so he is now Rey Mysterio.

origional rey mysterio has nothing to do with oscar and the actual rey mysterio jr.. the origional's actual son currently wrestles in mexico

Just curious, where did you hear that? Every site I have ever seen says that Oscar is the one and only Rey Jr. Rey Sr's son is El Hijo de Rey Misterio, not Rey Jr.

heard it many places .. rey mysterio wrestled in mexico about 40 years ago and now his son i think hes like 27 is wrestling in AAA a wrestling brand in mexico.. and he is the acutal rey mysterio jr. .. oscar uses the name as an omage or just out of respect to the origional

No offense, but you're mixed up. Rey Mysterio, Sr. trained Oscar Gutierrez. Rey Sr allowed Oscar to use the name Rey Mysterio Jr when Oscar turned 18. Prior to that, Oscar wrestled under the name El Calibri. And Rey Sr didn't wrestle 40 years ago. That would be quite a feat since he was born in 1958. Rey Mysterio Sr's son has always used the name El Hijo de Rey Mysterio (The Son of Rey Mysterio). The reason he used El Hijo is due to the fact that there already was a Rey Jr, Oscar Gutierrez.

im not mixed up at all .. we arent talking of the same rey mysterio .. that name is as commonly used in wrestling in mexico as yokozuna in japan .. im speaking of the 1st rey mysterio

No, no, no. There has been only ONE Rey Mysterio, Sr. Mexican wrestlers take their names and their masks very seriously. The only Rey Mysterio is Miguel Ángel López Díaz. He started using that name in 1976, when he made his professional wrestling debut. It would be akin to heresy for someone else to use the name Rey Mysterio. Many of the Mexican wrestlers wear their masks whenever they go out, in order to maintain their character. I would like to see some of your sources that their was another Rey Mysterio.

i thought so to when i saw that there was more than one but it seems to be becoming a trend to use someone elses name as a sort of omage.. i was looking for la parka matches yesterday and saw that there is a new la parka and even a new jushin liger
