Amatuer, But check this out!!!!

I know its only amatuer, and it was on Dirty Sanchez, but the guys wrestled one of England's finest amatuer wrestlers, as you can see from the video, they inevitably get destroyed. Check out the finisher at 1:07. i think its frikkin awesome!! 😀

I hate wrestling now that I'm a "grown up", and I think all the people that are passionate about it are at least a little crazy. But....

when I was a kid and watched it a lot, my fav guy was Jake the Snake Roberts because the DDT was the best finishing move out there.

I even tried it out on my little brother when we were kids - worked like a charm!

Truly great man. If he stays reasonably sober, the WWE should consider hiring him. Make him GM, have him teach ring psychology or how to cut dark promos. He is probably one of the top-5 promocutters EVER!
It's sad that such a brilliant man went som far down, but I hope he'll come back up again.

Perhaps its that submission holds bring to mind more "real" grappling and fighting. Honestly, in a real fight, who pins anyone?

Love the million dollar dream as well, though my favorite, right now, might be the Texas Cloverleaf.

If you haven't seen Dean Malenko do a Tiger Bomb into the Cloverleaf, you're missing out.

What about the women? Personally, I think Victoria's Widowmaker (or is it Black Widow?) is one of the most brutal finishers I've ever seen.

As mentioned above, the Van Dam-inator. Though a lot of RVD's moves are awesome, including Rolling Thunder when he was partners with Sabu in the REAL ECW.

Total Elimination was also killer. Best one was when the Eliminators duct taped Nu-Jack between two tables and did that move.

And let's not forget the Dudley Death Drop from the Dudleys. When that move was done, you knew it was all over.

You're right; it's the Widowmaker..and I do agree BUT..what about that hold Beth Pheonix did on Melina?

Has there been a move you've seen that just blew you away? Something that made you rewind or just have to see the replay? If so, what move was it?

One of mine has to be the Canadian Destroyer. Not that I think it would actually work, but it is still impressive to see.

Good call. The first time I saw Petey Williams do the Canadian Destroyer, my jaw dropped. I can't even imagine the ramifications should he ever botch this move. Here's the video for those who have never seen it...

Other various "holy crap" moves include Widow's Peak (as mentioned above), Cradle Piledriver, Styles Clash, and Vertebreaker. And yes, there are tons more. These are some of the more memorable off the top of my head. As far as old school finishers, it's all about the Sharpshooter. I loved the Hitman back in the day.
