Big John Daly really screwed up

Okay, I know, I know... golf!

But man, the drama this afternoon at the WGC championships was amazing! Tiger Woods VS John Daly in a playoff 😀

Suddenly the drama was killed when Big John missed a 6 inch putt.... I just hate to see someone lose like that

Yeah, the way the tournament ended sucked, even Woods said he didn't want to win it that way. Daly just didn't putt the ball well. 🙁

If there's anyone on the tour that had my vote, its Daly. He's really the antichrist of sports, self-proclaimed. Yet he can compete with the big boys... so he's a natural fan favorite. Just a drag to lose like that 🙁

He actually did a stunt here in Niagara falls which was televised, where he tried to knock the ball over the Niagara Gorge from the Canadian side to the US side this summer, lol. Coulda done it I'm sure, but the Mist ate everything he threw at it.

I was at the Skins game here two years ago when he played with Vijay Singh, Sergio Garcia and little known Ian Leggett. At the first tee, he downed a beer can, teed up his ball on the can and let er' rip!! Strait as a frickin arrow, LOL 😀

So evidentally he still has the booze problem. I remember watching him when he first came on the scene. It was exciting when he would just rip those drives. It really saddens me because he is so talented and could do so much more.

I agree with Sultry, so much talent that was wasted by his problem is a sad story in sport, but in saying that its a greater story that he has come back from that and is now again playing at a high level.

They way it ended could of happened to anyone, playing Tiger (plus he was wearing a red shirt - thats trouble for anyone lol) in a playoff could make anyone choke.

Actually, it was a 3 1/2 footer.

I can't even begin to count the number of those I've missed. 15 footers are easier.
