Blindfolds and/or gags?

Give up, hon; we have this conversation over and over.

I know. I keep hoping that actual physical evidence will persuade the people who, as near as I can tell, have never actually heard someone being tickled while gagged.

If someone avoids gags because they don't like the way they look, or because they have TMJ or breathing issues, I can understand that (though I can't help noting that there are a variety of gags that can address all of those issues). But this persistent legend that they "block laughter" is just ridiculous.

blindfolds are good

i prefer to use blinfolds on victims. that way i dont have to woory about her describing me to the police if she escapes.

Ive talked to a female who is very into being gagged, and she explained that she drools after a while. I dont think that is a sight that would excite me or inspire my confidence to tickle. Blindfolds Id not mind and yes I do enjoy the sound of laughter.

Some gags cause a bit of drooling, like the larger ballgags, which frankly adds to the feeling of helplessness and mild humiliation and is an added turn-on for many tickling people. But there are *plenty* of cloth gags, like a simple hankerchief/bandanna style, that go across the lower front of the face and not into your mouth (like the old fashioned bank robbers) and don't cause that at all. In fact they soak up anything that might occur, trust me 🙂

Depends on the gag. Ballgags and bitgags tend to do that, because they aren't absorbent. Cloth gags don't.

This is part of the point I've been making: There are so many different types of gags, with so many different properties, that it's hard to make a general statement that applies to all of them.

an effective gag that i have seen used and have used is the cloth/duct-tape gag. it mostly cuts down on the overall volume of the insane laughter pouring from the 'lee, but the giggles are still quite clear. plus...duct tape is so hot...

I personally just use a ballgag when I wanna get gagged. It's really effective and can make things pretty fun when you can't beg for mercy or use a safeword.

Yours and Bellas points are well taken...But I did notice that you both come from not only a ticklers backround but also BDSM and Spanking as well as photoghraphy.Gags are visually very exciting in a photo. I dont think there is anything wrong with gags they are just not my taste and I think there are people from a purely ticklers sensability that may prefer to hear laughter without the impedement of a gag. Its a matter of ones taste not so much what they are missing.

Um...I can't speak for Redmage, but I don't have a photography background at all. BellaRisa Productions was born when my in-laws gave me a camcorder for Christmas a few years back, before that I'd barely even used a Polaroid 😛. Heck, I haven't even made a video with a gag (yet ). My love of gags is 100% from real life, not photography; my first real 'Ler dearly loved a gag because he could tease me with questions and such. He was kinda evil, I learned so much from him... . A gag took absolutely nothing away from my laughter and greatly enhanced my vulnerability and therefore my ticklishness, so I can't help but promote them.

No one is saying that everyone has to like gags. To each his own, we all have our preferences. We just get annoyed when folks talk about how they block or hinder laughter when they've never actually used one for tickling. It's like when children just assume a food will be 'yucky' when they've never tasted it, ya gotta try something before you can really speak on it, that's all

Thanks Bella for your reply and Im sorry I did not clarify between your backround (spanking) and Redmage (photography and BDSM) but my main point was that you both come to this (tickling) from a broader scope and your love of gags is 100 percent. And its true people do say things when they have never tried so they are not talking from experience. But being gagged for some people may be extremely intimidating if they dont have your experince so dont get annoyed we are all only learning here too. There are lots of things id not do that Ive never tried such as bungy jumping or climbing to a mountain summit in the freezing cold or walking a tightrope between skyscrapers lol. My point is that sometimes people are not there own best judges and somtimes they are. Id only wish to be the lucky fly on the wall to see and your first ler .

True, for me at least (though my skills with rope are way better than my skills with a camera). But all this really means is that she and I have a broader range of experience than most tickling fans. I do understand why many people believe things about gags that aren't true. I just wish they'd either try for themselves, or listen to people who have.

Eh, yes, up to a point. I think that personal taste and medical/psychological issues are the only genuine reasons to avoid gags. But if I talk about what someone is missing then it will only be in the context of encouraging them to actually try something before they make a decision about it.
