Blitzburgh

I'm SO pissed I missed the game, but from the highlights here's what I saw:

Big Ben looked healthy, he was threading it deep.

Fast Willie P looked healthy, too and true to form.

The O-line finally showed up.

D continues to play at their prime.

One more W to Tampa...

Just beat the F-ing Ravens!!!

Just do it.

Here is why Pittsburgh will win, Titans and Ravens played a physical game, and the Steelers played a realtively soft game with San Diego. Very tough for the Ravens to beat both the Titans and Steelers in consecutive weeks.

Plus we already beat them twice.

And PIT will be at home.

Against rookie Joe Flacco.

With our team finally healthy.

Yeah, I wish I was able to go to Tampa.

I'd buy the tickets right now, no matter the cost...

Alas...

Just beat the damned Ravens.

All the haters in this thread all have one thing in common: Their teams are sitting at home, crying over what might have been.

If anyone still has doubts about the dominance of Pittsburgh think on this: even the 0-16 Lions did not have a quarter where all they managed was 1 offensive play for 0 yards and 2 turnovers. Say what you want about SD but they are a decent team that WAS in the playoffs and they got bitchslapped.

But it's ok. Dallas fans are cryers and sore losers. Maniac is a bandwagon jumper so his voice means next to nothing. Hate all you want. The 'burgh outlasted and outplayed all your teams this year. Deal with it.

That's it. It's obvious that when someone says something about a remaining playoff team that they must be jealous. Fans of teams who aren't in the playoffs aren't capable of making unbiased opinions.

Considering the blind bias you show for your Cowboys over all other teams, I'd say "no, you can't".

i hate to do this but i do agree with tickle fiend here its much easier to be unbiased about the playoffs when your team isnt in.. i mean i can be unbiased about it but i wont be.. although pittsburgh is clearly the best team left even if i am being unbiased.. but i dont believe tickle fiend is being unbiased because of his hate for pittsburgh

I am, actually. Sure, I support my team and all, but if I think they don't stand a chance, I will say so. I just don't see them losing to the Ravens if the O-line can keep it together.

Ah, I'm not gonna talk smack either way. I love my Ravens, but they still need to prove they can put the Steelers away in those tight games. If the black and gold win on Sunday, I'll offer my congrats. Not that I want them to, mind you. 😉

May the best team win, I say. Of course I'll root for the 'burgh, but I want it to be a GOOD game with no bullshit penalties.

Word. And whoever wins has GOT to beat the NFC rep. I don't want to see the championship handed to a team that couldn't even win 10 regular season games.

I clearly know the difference between expecting and wanting a team to lose. You guys act as if I've said the Steelers have no chance. I said that I expect this to be a good, defensive struggle that either team could win. You guys are acting as if you are about to play the Lions. Whatever happened in the regular season won't matter this weekend. You can act as if the Steelers won by huge margins all you want. You know the Ravens are the last team you'd want to see and I'm sure your hearts will be in your throats at some point on Sunday.

i wrote in several other threads . you can look through and find it easily that the ravens were the last team i wanted to see in the playoffs..i was happy when tennessee beat us because we wouldnt have to see the ravens until the afc championship game.. but now that i saw the ravens play aganist tennessee .. they looked spent they look like they are done and looked that way at the beggining of the game and i think tennessee would have handled them had chris johnson not got hurt, but the titans also choked it away they should have won.. and with the ravens getting banged up in that game and the fact that they already looked tired and throw in a rookie quarterback one step away from the superbowl (he will be nervous, ben was in this position and he had the best rookie season ever, up to this point when he fell apart) i think that pittsburgh whose offense is finally healthy will roll over the ravens

Spent? Oh because we were playing on a short week, the same thing you will be doing? Spent with a rookie QB who hasn't turned the ball over in the playoffs? Spent with the best defense in the playoffs based on performance in the playoffs?

Keep drinking the black and gold kool aid it will make the loss all the more tougher on you.

Apparently, you prefer the taste of the purple Kool-Aid.

i didnt say anything about a short week.. i said they looked tired in the game and btw you arent on a short week as a matter of fact you get 8 days between games and we arent on a short week either we are on regular schedule.. anyone who watched the game would say the ravens looked tired, and they only got beat up more playing a physical game with the titans

I think what he was referring to was referring to the fact that the Ravens played Miami on sunday and then Tennessee on the following Saturday. I am just looking forward to another great close game. However, I refuse to talk smack one way or another. I learned my lesson in the 2006 playoffs.
