Border Collies born on Janurary 27th

One of the 3 Male Border Collies will soon by mine. I get to pick him out this weekend and take him home sometime at the end of March.

"Jake" will be making a few appearances at Hyenas' Gatherings and other gatherings if allowed.

He will be an honorable member of the Hyenas Club too!

The #5 puppy looks like she's got the same coloring as my Border Collie. My baby, Laguna, is a tri-color and it looks like she'll be much the same.

They're wonderful dogs. They're incredibly smart, very attached to the family and very sweet natured.

I hope you get as much enjoyment from your new baby as I am.

Thanks! I had been turned on to that specific breeeder by another breeder and had met them as well as the momma dog months ago.

I did not know you had a BC!
I plan to use Jake as a stud dog for breeding too as well as train him to be in competitions and shows!
From what I have learned, BCs' are one of if not the most intelligent breed of dog.

And a stud, too...wow. Well, at least he has the easy part...and you, too, unless you do decide to get a female of your own. Best of luck!

Ed, from one Border Collie owner to another CONGRATS!! I got mine, a little darling male who I named "Peanuts"( because he's more trouble then the entire Peanuts gang, and to compliment our beagle named Lucy) in late Aug as an early B-day present( my birthday's in Sept).
We got him from an ad in the paper, but ironically the lady who owns his mom and dad works as a dog groomer @ Petsmart( the Canadian version of Petco) and we've been going to her for about 2 yrs to get our beatle groomed!
He was 5 weeks old when we got him, a lil bundle of black and white fluff, and he stole my heart( AND that of my hubby's too; which is amazing since the DH is a confirmed "beagle lover" lol). Now, 5 months later, he's a large, active bundel of energy who has to be walked twice a day( I call him my hairy treadmill! ) and who now has developed a facinatation with dog toys of ANY kind. He esp likes those rubber dog squeeky basketballs and footballs and will take any opportunity to badger, harrass, and suck up to any person in the living room to throw it for him.

PLEEESE be sure to let me know which one you pic and what he looks like! May you and him/her have many loving, fun wonderful yrs ahead. As a friend of mine here in Windsor( herself the proud owner of 2 Border Collies) says " Once you go Border Collie, you never go back"
