I'm confused. Superman Returns is a sequel to Superman 2, but were are also going to get a possible Donnor Superman 2.

So there would be a sequel to Superman 2 (i.e. Superman Returns or "Superman 3" in a manner of speaking, NOT Superman 3 with Richard Prior) then we'd also get a Superman 2 that is not the one that came out in 1981?


I'm assuming Superman 22 is just a typo. I sure hope - this is all puzzling.

I thought Superman 2 was superior to the first, but the more I read about the Donner version it sounds like it would be the best of them all.
