What Brett's wearing is remarkably similar to the Hela in DOAX. Although I hate to do so, I'll assume that's what you were using as a reference, and I'll respond with a "Holy shit."
Overall though, well, damn. Keep it coming.
Hmmm...not really sure what DOAX is, but I'll assume it has a character dressed like Brett. The "V-kini" Brett is wearing isn't a creation of mine personally, but it's not really inspired by a particular movie or character. It's a quick freebie download from Nerd3D, a guy who creates props, figures and textures on his website. A lot of Poser artists do this (I have a few floating out there myself), it's where a lot of the textures and clothing you see in the CGI community come from.
When I do freebie stuff for the TMF, I don't go as overboard as I do in the lengthier projects I sell through MTJ. On those, I try to use self-created objects where applicable (the devices, sets, lighting etc). I'm sure some small files like textures creep into everyone's artwork from time to time, as they are pretty much common shareware among online artists. For instance, I sent Khali a few textures and morph targets for use in new artwork. In turn, I got them from someone else, who got them from another srtist's freebie site. It's how the 3D community grows. Almost everyone has some version of Daz's "Vicki", as it's pretty much an industry standard and many of the available props are conformable to her. On the other hand, some guys use ONLY what they create, it's a matter of taste. Sara was an original creation, not based on Vicki or any other d/l, but she was made with a combination of textures, morph targets and such that is readily available to anyone. It's all in the creation...the combination of input materiel.
Also, just FYI, the Immobilizer device is completly original. It was created with nothing more than the stuff that's already in Poser. I usually retire these things after a series or two, but I think I'll keep this one around, I kinda like it.
