Brewers-Mets-What's Going To Happen

With the Wild Card in the National League a tie entering today's play, I thought I would post a poll asking what forum members think is going to happen with the NL Wild Card

Brewers win, as the Cubs have already clinched. Mets bullpen will blow it.

Brewers win, they play the Cubs in the first round too.

I think that the NL Wild Card is going to come down to a one game playoff between the Mets and Brewers tomorrow. With CC Sabithita on the mound for the Brewers, and Oliver Perez pitching for the Mets, I think that both teams have a good chance to win today, as both Sabathia and Perez are very solid pitchers.

Today should be very interesting.

I'll admit, I was a bit surprised at the outcome of today. Not so much that the Brewers won, but that the Mets lost. I thought that both would win, setting up a one game playoff tomorrow. Alas, it was not to be. As a Braves fan, I know about many a frustrating ending to a season, as thirteen times in the playoffs, the Braves season ended short of an ultimate goal.

So, goodbye to Shea Stadium. It will be cool to see Citi Field in 2009.
