With reference to a thread on the relative merits of U.K./U.S. TV comedy a few weeks back, may I add to my list of recommendations "Phoenix Nights" starring Peter Kay? I would love to know what Americans make of it!
 
Can we see "Phoenix Nights" here on the east coast? I'd like to check it out if possible.

Series one is now out on DVD, it is a channel 4 production so you may find some info on their web site.
