British teens hitting random people and filming it on thier cell phones

I heard about this on Fox News Channel just a few minutes ago. Where british teenagers are hitting people adults and other wise and kicking random people (on Buses side walks parking lots etc..... pretty much where ever) and thier filming it on thier cell phones thier partners are. And sending it to thier friends and other teens via text message on thier cell phones afterwards. And this has become a growing big time problem in britian it seems with this teenagers from the lady that reported it and talked about it on fox news.

This just proves my point that some teenagers are stupid and they need to get out more and found real hobbies and things to do again. Insted of commiting violence towards others and crime acts.


If i was in britian and a teen or a group of teens started hitting me. I would fucking beat thier asses till thier coughing up blood.

Ok... enough with the sick imagery. That is kind of ironic that these Brit kids are using violence to make their own video clips, when you consider that Britain has little violent crime compared to the U.S. I guess they might have watched "A Clockwork Orange" one too many times.

I guess American kids will start shooting people and then recording it on their phones to "outdo" the Brits. 😉

I saw that same segment. You know where I think it comes from? Dave Chappelle ("I'm Rick James, Bitch!"). I'm starting to question whether that show isn’t one of the less desirable cultural exports from the U.S. in recent years. And I'm a big fan of Dave's.

I wonder if someone from the UK can shed some light on this subject?

Also, couldn’t those same cell phone pictures be used as evidence against them (perpetrators) in court?

Speaking from a Brit's point of view, I honestly doubt that these chavs (as we "like" to call them) are cultured enough to watch something as smart as A Clockwork Orange or even know anything about Dave Chappelle's Rick James skit. In all fairness, they're just like the British version of rednecks, only they were brought up in a poor, hate-fueled environment with parents who know shit about bringing up kids. I've gone to a school that were full of these kind of people, so I know first-hand what kind of stuff they get up to.

In fact, I find it unsurprising that they would do something like that, and I reckon they would be stupid enough not to get rid of the evidence when they get their collar felt by the old bill!

Ok, seriously, I don't know if it was a local story or nationwide but a few months back, some dumbass teen punks filmed themselves shooting people with paintballs. Yes, it is admissable in court as evidence. Are they that arrogant, or just stupid? A-holes!

Well, my paint ball story was definitely American, where most teens seem to be (and this is just IMHO~all of my friends have kids, I have none) spoiled, disrespectful wasteoids...My vote leans toward arrongance. They figured they'd never get nailed I'm guessing...😉

In Britain this has been nicknamed 'Slaphappy Video'.

As a teen in london, but a member of another 'subculture' to these people, this has happened to me. I was walking along with one of my friends at college. All of a sudden I get kneed in the back of my leg, making me fall over onto the concrete. I see a hooded boy running away in front of me. Later on someone told me that a group of the person's friends were standing behind with a cameraphone.

And yes, they're idiots. Especially as they are, in effect, recording a crime as evidence.

British has pretty much banned and outlawed guns. I mean people still have them in there homes and what not. You just don't see and hear about so many gun related storys over there in Britian like you do alot in the United States. Since there banned.


But that won't and doesn't stop crime just because guns are still banned in Britian. There are ways around that to still commit acts and crimes sadly.

I have to say that I have never heard about British teenagers hitting people and filming it with their mobile (cell) phones. In fact, I have never heard about any teenagers doing this, British, European or otherwise. I'm sure it happens, but there is certainly not an epidemic of such attacks in the UK. There are certain UK newspapers whose entire function seems to be to scare the hell out of British citizens (either by telling them that vaccination is unsafe, food is unsafe, hospitals are unsafe, crime rates are rising (actually they are falling if you believe new government statistics released in the run up to the General Election) etc.) and they would cetainly use this story as a way to scare people into buying more of their propagandist filfth if they thought they could. In short, it is not my experience that British teenagers are doing this (speaking as someone who is not too far removed from being a british teenager).

Oh no! I'm not saying that anyone would make it up. I just think it is one of those things that is not very widespread. I'm sure it happens. But it is not the latest craze between teenagers or anything.
I hate a lot of British teenagers - especially those called Chavs. Chavs wear lots of really tacky, cheap jewellry, baseball caps, and sports clothes. The biggest ambition of the female chav is to have a child before she is 16 and the biggest ambition of the male chav is to buy a low specification car and add expensive speakers and other shit to it. The chav is universally 'unlucky' and can be seen in most high streets, shopping malls or train stations, asking for small amounts of money for his train/bus home. He will spend the money on alcohol and drugs.
