IMO this lacked punch on so many levels. To me Brock is a shell of what he ever was and what made him appear so dominating. Anyone who has followed his career knows the ONLY reason he is back in WWE is because he can't deal in UFC anymore. He basically got his ass kicked so badly in his last few fights he had to hang it up. So to me, no matter how badly they let him dominate Cena or whatever heel turn or tactics he uses, he will always be "weak" Brock to me.

Reality check:
Announcer: "So Brock, why are you back in WWE?"
Brock: "Because I got my ass kicked so much in UFC I had to leave. I was the UFC Heavyweight Champion. They made money off my blood, sweat and tears." Key word being "WAS".

Show some dignity Brock and retire. The best you can ever achieve in WWE is winning a "scripted" title and be reminded you can't do it for real anymore.

You realize that he isn't in UFC because he has diverticulitis. It has nothing to do with his win/loss record. Brock showed he could fight and became the UFC Heavyweight Champion. He returned to wrestling because Vince offered him a very lucrative contract with limited appearances. No way anyone would turn down a near multimillion dollar one-year contract. You can call him weak all you want, but the man made a transition that no one thought possible.

You know all WWE matches are scripted right, not just Brock's? Like jhop said, he was made an offer he couldn't refuse. Much more money for much less work. The UFC would have been very happy to keep him, even if he couldn't challenge for the title he'd still be a high end gate-keeper. But that would mean lots of tough training and lots of tough fights. The WWE is just an easier path.

His win/loss record is a reflection of the diverticulitis. Because of his physical condition he can't get it done anymore. He's a shark without teeth or a dog that's all bark.

Key word "could". All Vince did was come by and scrape the bones off the UFC highway and hope to gain any profit he can off of Brock's name. The first time they decide to decimate his character you'll hear Michael Cole scream "Former UFC Champion!" more times than "The longest weekly episodic show in television history!" Vince does nothing without agenda.

Wow I would have never figured that one out. I'm simply saying the best Brock can do in WWE is win a "scripted" title just like every other WWE character. He can't win a title for real anymore in a legitimate one-on-one business.

The WWE is an easier path because it's scripted. Dana White wants actual UFC competitors with unlimited fighting abilities to help operate a legitimate business. Brock no longer has those qualities. UFC is about making money - but it's "for real" money, not scripted outcomes.

I don't know, I thought Brock looked pretty confident on Raw. What was that he said in his interview?

"Me can wrestle......man!"

Who cares? Not everyone in the UFC will win a world title, most won't. That doesn't mean they can't fight, or aren't worth watching. Sometimes the most entertaining fighters are the one that take big risks and try things no one else will. Sometimes they lose, hence no title, but they're still good. In an actual fight, in the UFC for instance, Brock Lesnar would decimate every single person in the WWE. That should be enough of a reason to take him seriously, in the WWE at least.

Like I said before, it doesn't matter that Brock probably wouldn't have won the title again, it doesn't make him a bad fighter. If Dana White kicked out every non-title contender then they'd only be a handful left. Lesnar is more than a match for at least half the UFC heavyweight division. If theres one thing for sure, Brock leaving had nothing to do with his abilities as a fighter, either his health got in the way or he just didn't have the hunger anymore, and both are perfectly acceptable reasons to quit.

And for the record, this is probably the first time I've ever rode to the defence of Brock Lesnar, I really wasn't a fan of his whilst he was in the UFC. Doesn't mean I think he's a bad fighter though.

Clay Guida hasn't won a title and is considered one of the best

Brock was on top before they removed god knows how many feet of lower intestine from him. The fact he even came back and took shots should be honored
