Yesterday I went to a mall with two of my friends, and we went into Brookstone to sit in the massage chairs. Across from me there was an older woman being assisted by an employee to a foot massage. When she turned it on, she reacted "Oh!! is this the slowest it goes?"
The employee says "yes, unfortunately. It's all based on taste. Some people love it, and some people just can't stand it."
The woman asks her, "have you ever tried this one?"
She replies, "no, actually, I haven't"
The woman goes "I think you should. It doesn't feel like a massage. It feels like hard metal"
The employee tries it out, and says "Yeah, to me, this feels nice. Some people, I've seen just laugh automatically, because they're so ticklish. But some people love it and some people don't. You can try one of our other foot massagers if you like, they're not as intense."
After the woman and the employee left, I got out of my chair, took off my shoes and tried it out. My two friends were beside me in their backrest massagers.
The foot massage fully covered my feet, not like the leg/foot massages where they're open in front. And it had 3 settings. I'm not very ticklish on my feet, but when I turned it on, there were 3 metal rollers that pressed up against the bottoms of my feet and rolled really fast on the bottoms and I jumped. It actually tickled a bit, but it felt nice. "Whoa, that's weird!"
My friend goes "What?"
I said "It feels good! but it's weird! Do you guys want to try?"
My friend goes "I'll try it." We trade seats and she turns it on. She's not as ticklish either, but I would probably bet her more ticklish on her feet at least, than I am. She turns it to the second setting, and giggles "Heeheeheehee!"
I laughed and I said "what? it's weird right?"
She said, "Yeah, but in a good way."
Now, has anyone else tried one of these foot massagers?
AND I want one of you to make a foot massage exactly like this that actually intentionally tickles the bottoms of your feet and locks your ankles in. Does this exist?! How can we make this happen, people?
