I've just posted the first blog at http://myspace.com/tickling in a three part series on building a successful video clip store.
This is intended to help two groups; producers who currently run a video clip store and those thinking of starting a video clip store – There articles are to help both groups understand some of the ways they can increase their appeal to customers, increase the value their video products offer and how to increase sales without spending a dime.
The topics covered in each of the three blogs are listed below
Blog 1. Default to Newest First - Setting the default view of your clipstore, naming your store, Email contact - Letting visitors contact you, Video clip descriptions. Preview video clips. Pricing. Background color & text color - Flashy colors and easily viewed sites, */m &*/f tickling - Gender, Picture backgrounds
Blog 2. Audio on the site, Video file format, Video file size, HD (High Definition) vs. SD (Standard Definition) video
Blog 3. Video production quality - Lighting, camera, sound, editing, effects
As a companion to these blogs, I'll be writing some production specific articles in the "Laughter Weekly Magazine". I'll let you know when those are available.
