Bulls meltdown

Being a Bulls fan I am gutted today..

We let this series slip away with no excuse. We had this game won and very easily could have won game 4. If any positive can be taken from this loss I hope we have learned to play smarter. Players were standing around, no one was helping Rose and at times our defense looked like it had gone through a paper shredder. One more note, way too many turnovers.

I really thought this series would go six or seven games. I would have never imagined a backdoor sweep, especially giving up two games in our house.

In closing I congratulate the Miami Heat. You executed when we did not. I tip my hat..

I salute my beloved Bulls on a far improved season and a season of great memories and future promise. I hope they are not too hard on themselves. They went from a .500 team to the Eastern Finals. To all the boys thanks for a great season of NBA fun.

I look forward to next season..

I don't think it was a meltdown per say i think the Heat are just to good of a team to beat 4 times while relying so heavily on one player. Rose didn't play well in the series and the bulls suffered for it, the problem is they have it all, great bench, great d and a star player. But they don't have that number 2 guy Boozer showed this season and this post season he isn't capable of being that guy and now with what they paid and the contracts they gave they are locked into this team for at least 3 years so its going to be more of the same for the bulls. Rose can't do it all, all the time

Thanks guys. I agree Angel, we definitely need a number two guy. I'm sure that will be addressed. While overall I still feel we play as a team and most times we have a player step up to help. Overall we were just too inconsistent in this series. Hopefully we learn and become a smarter team.
