i just have a question for someone who has an answer.

i've downloaded some ripped games, and when i finish downloading them, it appears i need to burn them on discs, cause i open the file and it has 3 folders named CD 1, CD 2, and CD 3. and it appears i need to burn a file, and it's a *.BIN file. what do i do with it? burn it? the file comes with no instructions. can someone please help me?

You'll need CD burning software. The *.bin files are the binary part of normally a pair of files created when a CD is extracted as an image.

The other file is normally an *.cue (descriptor file for the CD image)

Common CD burning software are Nero Burn or Alcohol. Other CD burners exist but I highly recommend Nero Burn.

Once you've got the CD burner running, select "Burn Image" or an equivalent option and open the *.cue to start burning. Note that the *.bin must be in the same directory as the *.cue file.

If this doesn't help, perhaps post a screenshot of the directory contents for us.

Screw that...but it on your download list XD

Ness, I've thought about that via eMule, but I always have ?'s in the back of my mind ... how do you know what you are really downloading, and when you try to install it will it screw up your system, and where do you get a serial number from? I have Nero on my desktop, but it came packaged with my Memorex burners so it won't install on my laptop because the burner on it is a Sony.

eMule has become the ... "monkey on my back" .. !! I use it exclusively now, for archived mp3 rar's ... but I never have those ?'s about those, so why am I so paranoid about downloading software? 'Cause I've never done it before?

*scratches head and shrugs*

You shouldnt have a problem. Ive never really had trouble with programs Ive downloaded via bit torrent or any other P2P. The only problem Ive had is a couple games that were mistitles and turned out to be a different version than what it claimed.
And if you're looking for something that needs to be cracked...MOST of the stuff you downloed will come packaged with the crack or keygen. If not there are places you can go to get them.
