Burning MP4 onto DVD help

Can anyone please tell me a good site that has the MP4 to WMV converter so I can burn clips onto a DVD? I did a Google search,and there are quite a few choices. I just do not wish to download something that will have either a bunch of unwanted add-ons,or something that will harm my laptop.

There's a program called WinFF (a graphical front end for FFmpeg). Seems to work OK. Versions available for Windows and Linux. (http://winff.org/html_new/)

BTW, if you're burning to DVD-Video, you need to convert to MPEG-2, I guess. WINff can make DVD-compatible files.
