WASHINGTON - The bewildering fight between the government and telemarketers over the national do-not-call list took another turn Monday when a second federal agency said it would enforce the program, promising that consumers would soon see some reduction in telephone sales pitches http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tm...on_go_pr_wh/bush_do_not_call&cid=544&ncid=716 yay! The governemt doing something right, I dont believe that, but they are (which means they're gonna screw something else up)

I used to take cvalls for the products on TV, but then had to sell them even more stuff than what they originally wanted

I'm honestly not suprised. I posted predicting something to this effect happening in the other Telemarketer thread (though I did get FTC and FCC mixed up. D'oh!).

It comes back to voters ultimately being answerable to their constituants. The judges rule on the laws as they have to and did, but people wanted the list bad enough that the laws got changed to support the do not call list.

So they CAN do good things after all.🙄 Indeed, I wonder what blunder will compensate for this?😀
