... so Creepshow, the old campy Steven King flick was on last night and it got me feeling nostalgic for the old EC horror comics and its cousins under the DC brand. It makes me smile the way these stories, some as old as the 40s were recycled and re-drawn again and again... but as a kid with the whole of Summer in front of me, bliss was only 25 cents away; a hike to the convenience store, a favorite horror comic, a Slurpee and a Slim Jim... Life was good.

of course... this is a C.A.B. take on that genre...

Oh yes, some of those oldiesfrom the fifties with corny titles like "Men's Action Tales" were always full of semi-nude bondagettes and ex-nazi madman with nefarious intent. A real scream, as it were. Fetishists don't change, just the times. Thank you, Backstep.

Of course. I was just commenting that I am getting a lot of feedback (here and on other boards) that this piece should be expanded into a full blown comic book. Sometimes I wish there were more of me to do everything I want to do. 😉

And Creepshow is a damn great movie!

How about the one where they bury the girl and guy in the sand and let them drown in the tide - you should do a tickle paradoy of it - buried in sand and tickled to death, and maybe tormented by beach crabs and stuff here and there!
