Cadbury Flake

This summer at camp there were several staff members from the UK. They were constantly getting packages from home, primarily foods that they missed. I have to admit that the tea and chocolates were superior to what we have in the US.

One of the most decadent items was the Cadbury Flake. Does anyone know if they are sold in the US? Or, would any of you UK tickle lovers be willing to send some?

so funny you mentioned the flake. i was in london in june on business. i was going to the theatre one evening, and stopped at a store to get some treats. i picked up the snow flake - white/vanilla. i was so hooked, i loaded up my suitcase for the ride home.

Another chocolate treat that they do better is malt balls. They don't stick to your teeth like our Whoppers do.

Godiva is crap compared to British chocolate. I wouldn't bother.

Everything sounds so tasty. Thats what i hated watching harry potter. They're always eating something good in some of the scenes.

*sings stupidly* "Only the crumbiest flakiest chocolate tastes like chocolate never tasted befoorrrrrrreeeeeeeeeee..." Oh Jen, those malt ball chocs are called "Maltesers". Both Flake and Maltesers come in white chocolate variety now. They're dead good!

Maltesers, that's right. I never liked malt balls until I tried these. The white chocolate variety would not do it for me. I am not a big fan of it, but if the original Maltesers and Flakes were more readily available over here, I would be in BIG trouble.
