Hello fellow writers

I was just wondering what is it that inspires you to write the stories that you do??

For me it's definitely a mixture of random inspiration and secret fantasies

So please do tell ^^ what inspires you to write or WHY do you write the certain stories, themes, etc that you do?

As with you, it's a mix of fantasy & inspiration. I have to be in the proper frame of mind to write as well. If I'm not, it tends to not be very good. So, I simply wait until those elements and actually having time to write are present at the same time. Unfortunately, it's been a bit since they have been. But, since weather changes will soon mean no outside projects, I should have more time to write in a few weeks or so. Yay!

I may write a story or 2 based upon my own fantasies, but I figured I'm writing for other people, so the experimental one I wrote last night was inspired by the tickle fantasy of someone on this forum. However I told people it was my first, I always forget the one I wrote for TFTA years back.

To vent. Express something personal I'm going through/have gone through or am curious about. They're all personal issues though. Everything I've written lately has been some therapeutic issue wrapped in story form and held together with glue made from kink.

As with you, it's a mix of fantasy & inspiration. I have to be in the proper frame of mind to write as well. If I'm not, it tends to not be very good. I agree with you about having to be in the mood to write. If it don't come to me, I don't force it...

For my fiction stories, it's always been true that I want to get my fantasy down on paper so that it's detailed and specific. That's why I first became a TMF member in 2002 and began posting stories.

I wrote the nonfiction stories because Mistress Zara wanted me to chronicle our adventures together. I guess I won't be writing any more of those since Goddess Shelly is more private about our kinky activities.

Like you it's a mixture of inspiration and fantasies. Sometimes I think about something that turns me on and turn it into a story involving it. Other times I think about something I wish would happen and write about it.

The first stories I ever wrote in my life were tickle stories (my main category is poetry). The first time I wrote was based off a very vivid dream I had. The other two times, I was really in a mood to bring life to another set of characters. I didn't know necessarily how it was going to end, it was like I was experiencing everything with the characters as I wrote it, through their "senses". I was trying to create an experience I'd never had before, and get immersed in it. I think I was also kind of angsty (that's not a word 😀), and my poetry wasn't giving me enough freedom to express myself. Nice thread!
