Calling All TTers in the PA/OH/WV/Wherever areas to a Pittsburgh TT Gathering!!!

Dear fellow t-philes,

For those who do not know me, I am Camel/Doc, and I live in Pittsburgh. I am, on occasion, a volunteer First-Aid/CPR Dungeon Monitor at Pittsburgh's own Inner Sanctum. The Inner Sanctum is a wonderful, glorious place with two rooms full of apparatus to tie people to/lock people in/grope people through...and is basically the largest, full-service playspace for the BDSM community in the area. I love the community here, and am honored to be a part of it...it just seems as though there are NO representatives from this site who visit!!!

That being said, last week, the gentleDom who runs the facility offered up a challenge to all members of the Inner Sanctum. Most of the members are also a member of a BDSM/Fetish/Lifestyle group of some sort. He proposed that, within the next few months, he is going to allow the many groups who would like to participate to sponsor a night at the dungeon for their members in competition with other groups. The group that gets the most people to the dungeon on their respective night until the competition is over, will win a free party at the dungeon for as many people as there were at the initial gathering for said group (so if TT got 60 people to go to the dungeon for the competition, 60 people would be able to go to the party if TT won!)

Seeing as Pittsburgh is particularly accessible for multiple surrounding states, and I am unaware of a Mid-West Gathering for Ticklephiles, I thought it would be a GOLDEN opportunity for us all to get together, meet one another in person, and maybe even tickle the crap out of one another in a safe space.

Right now, I am just trying to get an idea of whether or not anyone would be interested before I contact Master Michael to set up a date for us. If no one is interested, that's sad...but I understand...and it just means I'll have to cry a little...



PLEASE COME!!! It would be so amazing to have a Tickle Theater night at the Inner Sanctum...

Personally I'd love to 'ler at such a gathering. Not sure of the 'when' yet would be best for myself but I'm certainly one of those in the running. Name a date and time and I'll see about giving you some torment, Camel26 :super_hap There's got to be others interested in making our own little mini-convention.

I'm not advertising myself as a lee for all...this is more an issue of drumming up interest in getting people together...and, if in the mix that shows up, someone makes friends with my ler, and earns her trust...well, then I might find myself in a bind, so to speak...

I just want people to come and hang out...

And I think if you and Cell come, even if it's not a TT night...the dungeon would be a much more laugh-filled place!!!!!

No pressure to play...its ALWAYS fascinating to see what people are into...sometimes, I feel so vanilla around some of the other folk...but it makes me feel like I could be myself, and no one would judge...even if I don't play!!!

Well, sorry to disappoint, but I'm only into guy feet. 😉 You might get rib tickled a bit, though. 😉

I'm about 30 minutes from NYC, and maybe an hour and 1/2 from Philly.

I don't know of a recurring event around here, but a woman named Bella used to organize a small gathering which she called her 'Midwest NEST'. Attended a couple times, never stuck around long enough to enjoy it. She'd get about a dozen (?) people, from a variety of places.

So this Pittsburgh thing would be a competition? Hmm... I would just say shoot for after the holidays, when people's schedules are a bit more cleared-off. jmo.

That's the goal...the competition does not begin until next year. I wanted to hear from people now in order to determine if it was worth it to set up a date for our forum to have a night there...if we don't have enough people interested, then I will feel like an ass for being the only person there aside from the dom who runs the place.

Plus, the other groups in the area are larger and have more members...and I need to know we have a shot at being competitive!!!

The dungeon, however, is open every friday and saturday night!

Sorry to hear it won't happen, but 30 people *is* a big bunch to gather at short notice. Maybe a smaller bunch can meet there at some point.

I think that we could get 30 people between Ohio, PA, and West VA alone...I just think that most would chicken out before they got there...😉
