Can't do long sessions.

I am lucky enough to have a girlfriend who has plenty of ticklish spots and gave me the green light to tickle her as long as I want on plenty of occasions. However I can't seem to bring myself to tickle her for longer than a couple of minutes. I absolutely hate being tickled, so I start feeling bad about doing that to someone I love pretty quickly and what started as a really good feeling ends up being a turn off for me. Wierdly enough I never got the same sort of sensation from tickling videos. In part probably because in those cases I'm not the one doing it. I still enjoy short intense or light tickling, but as I said can't go beyond a minute or two and usually it just lasts a few seconds.
Anyone else here in a similar situation?

It sounds like you want to tickle her for longer, and that you might be having difficulty separating your feelings from what she's said she's okay with.

Very often in kink relationships, each person will have different limits and boundaries, and pure ticklers aren't comfortable being tickled, and that's totally cool. I know that I can't be tickled nearly as intensely as I tickle other people, it's too much for me and I end up having a bad time. But if I know that my partner is having fun getting tickled senseless by me, I'm not bothered by that.

Have you brought this issue up with her? Are you comfortable elaborating on why it bothers you to tickle her for a longer period of time?

If your concern is that you’re hurting her or causing her displeasure, you can try using a safe word. She can use it if she is no longer enjoying it, if it becomes painful, or if there is an emergency. But it sounds more like transference 🙂 communicate with her about your concerns. Talk...

You have empathy for someone you care about, and even when indulging in something that's very important to you, you can't let go of that.
That's not a bad thing, man.
