Can't see video on wmvs

I am so frustreated---9 of 10 wmv that i try to view on the theatre just give me sound and no video. It's more pain than pleasure to not see what i am hearing! :grind_tee

That sounds like a codec problem. I recommend getting Windows Media Player 9 (or 10 if you have a more-powerful computer), free at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/mp10/default.aspx I also recommend installing any optional codec packs available here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/format/codecdownload.aspx and the free Divx codec, www.divx.com

This should allow you to view almost any Windows Media file. Best of luck!

I second at val, but remember always to download clips over your pc instead of streaming play.

Cos adds a good point: always right-click and save video clips to your PC, and only play them once they are fully downloaded 🙂
