That is genius!
 Thank you, kind sir! And I've mentioned it elsewhere, as this subject's been recycled a few times in the past, but you really can't help but visualize a long, thorough tickling when listening to J.S. Bach's "Toccata & Fuge in D minor" (okay, well maybe YA'LL might be able to, but I sure can't! :jester: ).

And here's one of the previous threads with some other outstanding thoughts on this fascinating topic...

Wow, what a great vid--it even gives visual aids for the uninitiated! Kind of like following the bouncing ball! :jester:

Well, now that the movie 10 is no longer inreruns on cable every week,

Would.... The Balero by Ravel be in this list, Tank?
Yeah, I think so. I'll have to give that a try.
I'll also use Ravel's "Pavanne Por Un Infanta Defunte".
Great piece; if you've bever listened to it I reccommend it.

YOU can't sleep? Now, I can't sleep...

My dear Mistress, what HAVE you done? Here I am, popping one CD after another into the player, trying to find the PERFECT melody to tickle by...:rotate:
I'm absolutely tickled by two aspects of this thread. The first is the number of eager and enthusiastic replies by folks who obviously regard a feather as an integral instrument of any musical ensemble. Second is the notable number of ticklers who prefer, ah, conducting their sessions to classical music. I mean, sheesh! Beethoven's Ninth! Bach's Toccata and Fugue! The William Tell Overture! (Hi-yo, Tickler! Awaaay!) And you could KILL someone if you tickled her/him to "The Flight of the Bumblebee"! :xbee:
Still, as an habitue of Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, I can't resist seconding the notion that Ravel's Bolero would make an exquisite soundtrack to drive someone ecstatically nuts by. Its patient buildup of volume and complexity would grant any tickler following its lead the ability to turn any ticklee red with laughter. Yes, at climax, those wild trombone slides should see your ticklee quite wild as well.:woot:
BTW, since Isabeau was so taken by this thread that she outed her past as a prospective Toscanini, I nominate her as the Forum's Musical Mod, ready to put down her feather and wield her baton (although, come to think of it, they're prob one and the same) as she dispenses sound advice to tone-deaf ticklers in need. 😉
Hey, if you don't have time for tickling at symphonic length, how about dancing your fingers upon your ticklee's tenderness to Fred Astaire singing Gershwin's "They All Laughed"?
"Ho-ho-ho! Who's got the last laugh, now?":jester:

hmm i outed my what as a what???? lol..i never claimed to be a music know-it-all..it's just that i majored in music in college and therefore put in my two cents worth..i think people immediately thought of classical because of the way Mistress Aura worded her thread...choreograph, etc...actually my preference would be any thing by Nine Inch Nails...."Closer" comes to mind..damn i love that song...i recently heard it mixed with the Beatles "Come Together" now that was awesome..

p.s. thanks for coloring the part of the thread aimed at me in purple...my absolute favorite color....how do you do that, btw?

double p.s.....love your edit quote lol..
