Cant view certain videos? Problem solved

Many of you run into the problem where you cant view a video that everyone else can. Realplayer cant find the correct codec or quicktime doesnt have the correct software, etc. If you have these problems, there are 2 things you can do.

First, download the DefilerPak. It is an audio/visual codec package that contains all of the standard codecs used currently. This should solve most of the issues I listed above. http://hellninjacommando.com/defilerpak/

Second, download the VLC player. The VLC player is good media player with most of the standard video codecs already built in. In plays prettymuch anything and everything. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Thanks for that LB!

I have another barrier to that though. I use an Apple Mac, which doesn't always get catered for by some software developers. Any other MAC users here find that?

If you use a mac, id just go with option 2. There are VLC players for most OS types.
