Care of your Hands.../ my situation.

I have an allergy to Latex gloves. And probably something else too. Not exactly sure yet.

Last week it started again, and by nightfall they were glowing bright red. It feels and looks like actual blood red lava. It's crazy to watch it happen. The cold weather and sometimes washing my hands too much will also bring this on. So... the tops of my hands will actually crack open and bleed. All over the tops. It hurts like a mofo. So... please always use moisturizer on your hands. Clean is one thing, but moisturizer is also key.

Also something to keep in mind Gentlemen, if I may... 🙂

I get scratched a lot by my Bf because he works so much with his hands. Locksmith work is really tough. So... I will say that, this hurts to be tickled by someone with sharpness all over their hands. The pads ya know? Like softer, but scratchy hardness. The cuticles. Damn! He hates it too and once a week he takes care of them. But... I'm at the point I'm going to start further taking care of his hands for him. And it will help him relax too. Hot water. Lavender, lotion etc

I think Ler's will certainly appreciate having this done too by their subbies... A tribute if you will...

That'll happen to me in the cold! I find Eucerin advanced repair hand cream works best.

I have really dry skin and so winters just suck big time for me, My fingers always crack and bleed no matter what I do! They get copious amounts of lotion in the mornings because I have to put lotion on my feet and calves to keep my socks up, so my hands get the residual. Nothing worse than my socks falling down in my boots! I have to pull the truck over somewhere and take my boots off, fix my socks, then put my boots back on and take off again. And it's not always easy to find a place to pull over with a big truck!
Plus, I wash my hands a lot, too. Probably why I rarely get sick. But it takes the lotion off and I don't always have a chance to put any more on. So, winter sucks!
