Charlies Angels 2 - What a surprise!

OK, so I don't tend to go for things that look stupid when I see the previews. But, last night, Drew walks in with a couple of videos, one of which was the latest Charlies Angels movie. We decided that, with the stresses of recent events we needed something stupid to distract us.

We loved it! It was so silly and made fun of everything under the sun. I'd expected it to sit there rolling my eyes. Instead, I was LMAO (unfortunately not literally 😀 ) at all the antics. If you're into movies that do parodies of other movies, this will be a must rent. It played on a ton of different movies. They should have a contest to see who can recognize the most original sources or something. Hell, there was even a rip-off of the skating rink scene from the Xanadu movie of my highschool days.

If you want a good laugh...SEE IT!

Yeah, definetely a "leave your brain in the lobby before entering the theater" movie, but it was loads of fun. And there were 2 potential coulda been tickle scenes in the bloobers as the credits roll.

It was amusing, but I found it disappointing in the following way: In the original "Charlie's Angels" there was a long scene with close-ups of Lucy Liu's bare feet. No similar scene in the sequel with Lucy or any of the women. Too bad.

watched it last night

i thought it was very funny, and entertaining!
it wasn't as good as the first, but then, i don't think it was supposed to be.

anne you're right, even my kids were saying all the shows and video games it was spoofing.
