did you ever have one of those days where you were mentally checked out and could not think straight therefore making it very hard to get anything accomplished?Well,that's what this thread is for.I am checked back in but a few days ago I checked out very early in my day lol.I was dropping things and knocking things over and could hardly think,
 
Oh, I have those. I call them my "Never Wake Up" days. I'll just go through the day with that feeling you have in the first five minutes of waking up. It's very discombobulating. (Yes, it's a word. I'm a writer...trust me...😉 )

I say, stick 'em out and have fun with 'em.

Then again...i say that about other things, too. 🙂
 
Oh, that's every day with me. After awhile, you get used to it! :lol

Really though, I know EXACTLY what you mean, QueenieBee. I had one of those days over the weekend. In my case, it was that unshakable feeling that I should not have EVER bothered getting out of bed that day, and nothing that happened from that point on throughout the entirety of that grueling, soul-smothering afternoon and evening gave me any reason to have so impudently disregarded that original "gut" feeling.

i.e. - Next time, I'm calling-in.

every hollywood brother fans gets these type of days. you do your best, you hate the day and then if your lucky you fall asleep early
 
I didn't actually hate it,I was laughing through the whole thing.I kept making such silly mistakes but once I kept working it was like the fog lifted and I was able to think again it was weird lol
 
I too have my "Chevy Chase" days (ever see him portraying Gerald Ford on old episodes of SNL?).

*sighs* every day lately has been that way for me..but after what happened a few weeks ago..i don't mind it..

yesterday i started exercising and had to quit, as i felt icky..or strange..either my blood pressure was thru the roof, or the ozone layer was extremely high..lol
 
yeah i think everybody has a few days a year that your mind is literally gone fishing so to speak lol

I like walking. It's easy exercise, is great for you both physically and mentally, and best of all, it's cheap!
I'm not sure how to put this, but I am convinced that it is a good thing for people to put their feet on the earth now and then. Good for the body, mind, and soul. A decent walk will usually snap me out of one of those brain-fogs like you had at the start of the thread, QueenBeeBeeMari. Maybe not immediately, but within a day or so, I'll be able to think more clearly.

Yeah if you can walk around outside a bit with an iPod of some such thing, it's not nearly as bad.
 
And if you're concerned about bad neighborhoods or anything like that, consider driving yourself to a safe place to walk. For instance, many walkers use a track around a playing field near one of our college campuses in the city where I live.

I have permit but I can't seem to get the hang of it.Last,time I tried I mixed up the break and the gas and nearly ran into a brick wall.I am very scared to drive.I don't want to hurt or even worse kill somebody.

i used to be like that i had this social anxiety where when i was out i would feel real strange and i never left the house then my dr prescibed paxil so now i can go out now and not feel anxiety i still feel strange though when i'm talking with someone i don't know but walking might help i walk alot when i'm feeling down but i like to walk at night when its cooler
