Due to a recent drop in advertising revenues, we have decided to close down the Erotism -free hosting program, as it is no longer profitable for our organization.

The schedule of the shut down will be held as follows:

July 15th New accounts will no longer be authorized on Erotism, and NO uploads will be made possible but Downloads will still be possible for the time being.

July 31st Erotism as well as all hosted sites will be permanently put offline


Therefore, if you have websites or any material in your Erotism account that you would like to retrieve, you must transfer them BEFORE July 31st. Otherwise, it will be too late.

This sucks, although I decided to keep a yahoo group myself due to the fact of unstable web servers. And you can always make more.

You don't have to run back to Yahoo if you don't want to. Go with web1000. No pop up banners, 50 megs space. The only issue is that countries outside of the US may have trouble viewing it.

That seriously takes the piss. No warning and then *poof*, your sites are gone. Of course, there's no way you're gonna water down your work in order to confirm to the rules of other free providers. That has happened to me once when I had a site in Geocities, where all my content was erased by the time the hit count reached around 20,000. Very annoying. Well I hope your sites do go back online soon, using a decent web provider as well.

Oh Scamwich, your site seems to work for me just now. I think I see a pattern with sites hosted by web1000 and my terminal. I guess you can it "that time of the month"... (plus I've a pic for your guest section. You may have seen it already)

Hey, go to www.web1000.com. They give you 50 mb of free webspace with unlimited traffic.

But do they allow adult material? I mean the whole reason I joined Erotism is so I could experiment with much more adult imagery in my art.....
