Yay, it took till the final week for a team to clinch the WORST baseball division

For christs sake, the cubs had 1st place and were two games over .500

And how are the White Sox spending the post-season??? You know, don't knock the Cubs for accomplishing what you guys couldn't do??? In fact, if your White Sox were in that division you would still finish 12 games BEHIND the Cubs. So don't knock them. They did good. They did better than the Southsiders.

My commentary on the cubs had nothing to do with cubs\sox, infact i could care less for the cubs. My allegiances go Sox, oakland, redsox, American league, Reds, then phillies

Its typical of fans who have achieved nothing to shoot out rivalries at others as a retort. I had my 05, im perfectly happy.

I simply state facts so why dont you try to dispute them, the NL central has been the worst division this year as they were last year. Somehow the cards snuck and won a world series out of it, but its a fact if you look at records and players, the central IS NOT GOOD. Be a realist and not some wgn hypnotized cub fan

The Cubs got off to a rotten start this year. Things looked very bleak indeed back in the late spring, early summer there. But then, they had this incredible come back win, and I turned to my wife and said, this is it, this might be the turning point of the season for them. I was actually right for a change...they began to win. And win.

Good for the Cubbies.
