"Need for Speed: Edge is an upcoming free-to-play MMO racing game which is currently in development by EA Spearhead (formerly EA Korea) and published by Nexon. It is the third free-to-play game in the franchise overall, also the only free-to-play racing game that runs on Frostbite 3 game engine. It is based on the 2013 title, Need for Speed Rivals.[33]"
Does MMO and Free to Play signify PC/Browser based?
If it does this will be a complete and utter disaster, not only did Rivals suck which apparently this one will be based off of, it remains the only most modernish of the series to come out primarily for a console like the Xbox that I lost so much interest in ive yet to complete, oh and the last time they tried browser based it failed in about 4 years.
Best Need For Speed Recipe;
-2015s cutscenes/always night
-Underground 2s customization/individual shops
-Most Wanted(originals') Blacklist dynamic
-Carbons' Territory control dynamic
-Mixture of those worlds with new ones etc
Other
-Arching storyline title to title
-Past/Present/New characters for Blacklist etc
-Being able to somewhat customize int and ext of your own safehouse/hideout would be rad.
Anyway, who the f... is Nexon and what happened to Criterion? Ive never heard of Nexol or Spearleg whatever...
NFS finally makes a step forward in '15 but sounds like there about to take 10 steps back, and I have to wait until 2018 for another Forza Horizon, 2019 before NFS has another chance to get it right... RIP Burnout Revenge by Criterion and Dirt Showdown by Codemasters.
