Talk about a bunch of punks. Talk about a bunch of gutless cowards. With all the hype that came with the Heat vs the Cavs in Lebron's first visit to Cleveland, those players played like a bunch of gutless bitches. I am so dissappointed in those players.

The Cavs fans and the City of Cleveland waited for the moment to extract some revenge on their former King. 5 months after "The Decision", the fans were ready to support their team and to spew their hatred against the evil entity known as Lebron James. The fans wanted to ridicule Lebron and see what he left behind. They wanted to show that karma is a bitch, and KNEW their hometown team would play harder than they ever had. This was going to be a great night for them and for the pride of their City.

You would think the Cavs players would be amped for this game. After all, Lebron essentially called them a bunch of talentless boobs when he left for Miami. The Cavs were the #1 team heading into the playoffs 2 consecutive years, so they were a strong contender. When was the last time the star player left the #1 seeded team to go to another team and say "I want to win a championship". Lebron told the world, the Cavs are a bunch of stiffs. He called out their manhood. You just KNEW the Cavs players would try to redeem their manhood!

Nope. The fans were great. They did their part. They booed, they chanted, the released their emotions. They were going to cheer for their hometown team and inspire them to victory. Problem was the Cavs players are bitches. Straight up bitches. They played with no passion, no desire, and could not capitalize on a City that was going to cheer for them harder than they ever had been cheered for before. Worst of all, they let their chief villian pour in 38 points on them. They didn't challenge Lebron. They didn't even give him a "playoff" foul. Even if they lost, it should have been competitive and Lebron has under double digit points.

PLAY FOR YOUR CITY. PLAY FOR YOUR OWN FREAKIN MANHOOD! If I'm Dan Gilbert, I would fire each and every player after that crap. It is hilarious when one of the players said he hated what Lebron was saying to the Cavs bench. WELL DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT DURING THE GAME!!!! Those guys let down not only their fans, but their own manhoods as well.

Sorry Kis, I was pulling for your city, because I figured they would rise to the occassion. So much for that, I am going back to ridiculing Cleveland again... At least the Browns show a pulse....

King James proved what a great player he truly is. All the hatred directed towards him won't take away from what makes him such a dynamic player.

38-points in three quarters? I only wish he was able to play the entire game.

This game should at least prove to people that LeBron is capable of rising to the occasion when the pressure is the highest.

All hail!

Well you are certainly quite emotional about this........even moreso than me or anyone I can find in the City of Cleveland to discuss it with.

I didn't watch the game; was too busy with other things. I've already mentioned in another thread that the nationwide attention was really unnecessary. I mean, it even landed on Bloomberg tv for Pete's sake!

Plain and simple, you have a team with no premier player playing against a team with three premier players. Anyone else see a stacked deck from miles away?

I did wish they would've made a game out of it, but alas......hope springs eternal. Maybe next time there won't be so much hype and the Cavs will be at least ready to play a competitive game.

You are right about one thing, the Cavs missed a phenominal opportunity. I'm just glad everyone behaved themselves appropriately and didn't make a national spectacle out of the city. We have enough on our hands with the reputation Browns fans have.

And you're right about them too--the Browns do have a pulse which is why I'm a football fan and not a basketball fan. I just support the Cavs positively and wish them luck. But even when Mr. James was there, I wasn't a fan even though now he's gone I can definitely see where the team needs some help. Good luck with the postseason draft and free agency; we need all the help we can get!

Yeah, unlike what he did when he choked in the playoffs in the Boston game right?? When he's hot, he's hot but when he no longer gives a crap he just chokes. But he's got Wade and Bosh to back him up now I guess because he has no true leadership capability otherwise.

What it proves is that as long as he plays with the Heat is that he'll always be the bridesmaid and Dwayne Wade will always be the bride. He can score 50 points against a struggling Cavaliers team and he still be known around the nation as Dwayne Wade's sidekick. At the end of the day, he doesn't have what it takes to lead a team to a championship--he can only stand behind Wade....if he wasn't taller than Wade, you wouldn't see him in the background.

It won't make eventual future championships any less relevant, but he'll never be King in Miami......Dwayne Wade's got that all sewed up.

A true Hall of Fame leader said it best. Now watch this vid to the very end...if you blink, you'll miss it.

Now I'm not a fan of Michael Jordan; as a player, there is no comparison. But as a man, he kinda' sucks. But you gotta' give him his due; he didn't quit on his team and run and become someone else's backup. He changed the game of basketball in ways no one else will duplicate so his opinion's good with me.

And where was your " The Princess " when the Cavs were playing Boston in the playoffs. Sort of looked to me like he gave up. Couldn't handle it and took off.

If you consider the 15th game of the regular season pressure at it highest then you are completely clueless. But then again, you said Dallas was going to win the Super Bowl this year. But I digress.

Then knew he couldn't handle the pressure of being the man and went where he could be 3rd best and win. Sounds like a chump as opposed to a champ to me.

Kis, I am only emotional about it because I hate seeing punks play sports. The Cleveland fans who DO CARE about basketball deserve to have their team try and get retribution over the biggest sports traitor in history. Everyone knows the Cavs won't do much this year, so this game was their title game. This was their chance in the limelight one last time. Then the Cavs players laid an egg and pretty much got their man cards taken from them. They played liked bitches and cowards...

Ticklefiend, please keep one thing in mind. The Heat can't seem to beat teams with a front court. When they play Boston, what happens? They beat up on teams who's front courts are small and not that talented. How can you possibly think that performance makes him great. Once he realized the Cavs players were not going to fight back, he did what he wanted. Had they defended him, and even played physical against him, Lebron would have had maybe 10 points. Lebron has talent, but he is NO WHERE NEAR the best player in basketball. He isn't the best player on his team. That goes to Dwyane Wade....

There are a good number of fans that where passionate about the loss to the heat...

but that was embarrasing, I felt bad for that fanbase and that city, the fans wanted it more than the team, it looked like they wanted to get Lebron's autograph that to put him on floor with a hard foul. They might have been more worried that they wouldn't get to party with him in south beach when they play again that playing for themselves and the honor of the fans and the city.

I didn't see the game either, but I heard about it.

Cleveland fans haven't had much to cheer about... in any sport. The closest any team in that city has come to a championship, as sports fans know , was when the Indians took the Marlins to the bottom of the ninth in Game 7 of the 1997 World Series. The 2007 NBA Finals wasn't really a series, with the Spurs four game sweep of the Cavs.

I have a feeling that the Cavs might be in the worst possible of NBA situations going forward, mired in mediocrity. Not terrible enough to get a Number 1 draft pick, but not good enough to get to the playoffs, or to make noise if they get there.

What might help the Cavs long term, is if they had.. something like the season the Nets had last year. Bottom out, get as many high draft picks as possible, and rebuild.

I dont know if that will happen, but.. as I can't see many top free agents going there, both because of how Cavs management handled the Lebron situation, and the state of the team, that might be the only way that the Cavs can have a resurgence.

I lost all respect for Cleveland fans when I read that a grown adult man attacked a 8 year old boy for wearing a jets jersey to the game.

No excuse in the world can cover that.

Once I read that I was hoping James would score 50. Screw Cleveland fans.

The child was NOT attacked; he fell and someone made much ado about nothing. Besides you're mixing your sports; Browns fans have nothing to do with Cavs fans.

But it's okay.....we're used to being lied on.

Sorry about mixing sports. Cavs fans are the ones that said they planned on throwing batteries at James. My bad. Browns fans are the ones that attack little kids. Not to worry. The kid said he won't be attending anymore Browns games anytime soon. From what I read, after the kid got tackled, both the kid and his dad got called names and had food thrown at them. Must have been a heck of a "fall".

Cleveland fans. True class.

Tsk, tsk, tsk.........hasn't anyone told you that you can't believe every sensationalized thing that you read? Guess not, but you believe whatever floats your boat okay? Where's the lawsuit? Where's the kid and dad now? Back home knowing they lied and hoping no one calls them on it. I know if someone assaulted my child, we'd be in court and on national television until we were satisfied. Have you read anything about that? Well, have you??

And did anyone throw anything at Mr James? No, they didn't. All that security (that Cleveland gets to pay for btw) for a whiny manchild like Lebron? Now that is what's truly a shame. The city gets to kowtowel to him even after he left for South Beach. He got booed (as he should've), the game was played, and the Cavs lost.....the city didn't burn over it. Cavs fans said they'd do a lot of things, but what actually happened is what matters, not what was said. I can plan to win the lottery, but if I don't have the numbers I don't get the money. See how that works? Probably not, but hope springs eternal.

I've wasted enough of my time with this so you believe what you want if it makes you feel better to be insulting, you'll be doing it by yourself.
