Clips4sale question

Does anyone know how clips4sale ranks the “top studios?” Sales life-to-date, or some other period? And number of clips sold vs total dollars? Just curious. I notice that the rankings seem to shift fairly often (though not dramatically), but on the other hand, a store that is about #30 under tickling has not made a new clip for 4 years.

As I understand it, the top studios under each category is done on total sales (dollars) over the last couple of days, which is why it changes regularly - the 'top clips' works in the same way. From memory, I think the top 50 overall stores/clips on the C4S front page and the top 50 under each category (i.e. tickling) have a slightly different timeline.

A store could rank #30 on the tickling category without having released anything new for a long time, based on the fact that their old stuff still sells. Much of my sales total comes from older clips as well as the new, and I'm sure that is the same for a lot of store owners!
