Wow, long time since I've posted...hiya.
I was just motivated by knismo's "Stuck in the Stocks" site to look into doing my own. His site protects the ticklee's identity pretty well while still offering great clips. That leads me to think I could actually entice some friends to help make clips that don't give away who they are, but could still sell reasonably well.
Anyway, speaking of enticements, here's my question. Would anyone be willing to share what kind of money an average amateur tickling clip on Clips4Sale might make? My plan would be to share profits with the ticklees, and I'd like to float the idea with them, but I have no clue what a ballpark figure might be.
I certainly understand if the serious pros out there don't want to share their business info, and even if other folks like me don't want to discuss their finances. Sorry if this is an awkward topic. As I mentioned in my pm to knismo, we midwesterners are raised to be circumspect about finances. Still, I suppose it never hurts to ask.
Also, I noticed that Clips4Sale charges a 40% transaction fee, but it's still clearly the site of choice for clip sellers! I guess that's just a cost of doing business...
Thanks for any info.
