I've been told this is not a true hologram but its still pretty amazing.:wow:

Technicality

The reason it's not a hologram is due to it being an effects shot. What we see on TV is not what is occurring in the CNN newsroom. They super-impose the live image. For it to be a true hologram the image of the digital reporter would have to pop out of the ground and be a visible 3D figure for all in the room to see. The manner in which they saw the digital reporters was by looking through where the reporter would be and watching a large plasma screen. There was no holographic image in the room. That is why it is technically not a hologram.

I'll take your word for it Chaneda.In that case it seems like they went to a lot of trouble for nothing.And the person who expained it to me was not as clear about things as you were.Thanks for clearing that up.🙂
