I love my collar. n_n It's black leather with metal spikes, so it matches one of the chokers I normally wear. Got a little red tag on it that says I'm a slave, too. I can usually just turn it around, showing off the spikes and hiding the tag under my hair, so I can wear the thing in public. n_n;;

coming from the bdsm community to the tickling community, i can safely say that yes collars do mean something in the bdsm realm. i have been collared twice in the 15 years i have been a sub (once a public ceremony and the other like Bella where it was just assumed and we did it in private), and both times the collars meant quite a bit to me. it does bother me to read through the old posts to see others having a bad taste of D/s because of significant other's D/s relationships going bad. all i can say is that not ALL of the D/s relationships cause a sub to become a shell of a person or even step between an existing relationship, ie marriage. in fact that is considered as horrible in form and in the end it's all about choice and free will.

i would wear a collar just for play, as long as both parties (meaning the lee and the ler) understands that the collar is just for the specific scene or what was negotiated. during play wearing a collar could be hot, but i have one question.. wouldnt that leave the neck covered so that it couldnt be tickled??
