A Colorado woman has been cited after a microwave at a 7-11 blew up a .. urine sample.

One of the more.,., unappetizing stories I've read or heard about.

Has anyone else heard about this?

Did she do drugs a short time before making the sample and think heating it up would evaporate the drugs from the sample? Of course you'd have to be on drugs to think that would work but I'm grasping at straws because I'm at a loss for an explanation.

There are a lot of dumb ideas out there about how to "beat" drug tests. Hardly any of them have any effect.

It wouldn't be the first junkie to try to feel smarter by attempting to "beat the test". Reminds me of that poor fuck in Casino (the 90's movie) who tries to cheat at cards and gets caught.

Call me old-fashioned, but I think the best way to pass a drug test is not to take drugs at all 😛

Everybody knows the ONLY way to pass a drug test is to study really hard! Sheesh! 😉 Next she will probably sue 7-11 and the microwave manufacturer for false imprisonment. I wonder if nacho sales went up or down at that store afterwards?

Honestly I'm sure what good drug testing does in the long run anyways. The war on drugs is a war on the poor. We're NEVER going to be able to KILL the drug trade but if we want to slow it down significantly we can take some alternate steps/approaches than the ones we're (aka the USA) doing currently.
