Coming to NYC

Hi all.
I know this belongs in the gatherings section, but considering it is last minute, please indulge me.

josie and I will be in NYC this weekend and are interested in getting together for brunch on Sunday with anyone who is interested and available.

Let me know by Thursday night. We leave early Friday morning.

Not Coming After All

Last night, I ended up in the ER with what I thought was an allergic reaction. My throat was all swollen. Nope, not an allergy. It is strep. So, needless to say, I will not be infecting NYC with my germs.

Maybe another time.

I'm sorry to hear you're ill, Jen. Take care and follow the doctor's orders - there's some really nasty crap out there that is very hard to get rid of.

Hope you're back in the pink (tickled pink 😉 ) soon!

Tough town...

C'mon with your 'ol bad strep...NYC had it's flu shots this year. So did I, and my arm still hurts 3 days later. Not sure these things are worth it... Q

Last year, I got a pneumonia shot and got pneumonia. I just got a flu shot last week and so far, I have had 2 days of flu-like symptoms and now strep. These shots can kill ya. LOL

That's harsh. Jen, I hope it gets better swiftly. My neighbor recently got through his own bout with pneumonia, and it didn't look like fun at all.
