I am creating this thread because I am concerned that there may be some TMF members that live in Southern California that have been evacuated due to mudslides,flooding..
I am praying that any and all of our Members that live in Southern California are doing well, safe and not in trouble..

I live in Soutern California, more accurately a town called Upland. And Upland is almost close to where those floods and landslides are happening. This town is in no immediate danger and isn't likely to be, and I do not live on risky or problematic terrian.

I, and alot of people are fortunate, but there are those that are not and are suffering in some way. My thoughts and prayers go out to them as well, and also that the flooding and such doesn't reach it's way up here.

Thank you so much for responding Celtic😀 ,happy to hear that you are doing good..

I hope nothing bad happens where you live Upland is near San Bernardino right? I was based at Norton air base in the early 90's During the winter out there they have some wierd weather that happens

@ticklehotel- Showing my concern is the least I can do. Our church may hold a special collection for this relief effort. We've already done it for the tsunami victims, in addition to our own private donations. I sure hope people don't stop the generousity.

Thank you for your concern of me. 🙂

@ gen.zod-

I don't think anything bad will happen here simply because of the terrian. It isn't problematic, to my knowledge anyway, like those areas in So. Cal already hit. If anything does happen, I think it wold be minor flooding at best.

Yes, Upland is a part of San Bernardino County. Stationed there huh? What kind of weird weather?

Thanks for the concern! I'm ok here in San Diego. My Dad was almost evacuated, but thankfully it didn't get quite bad enough. The only yucky thing that really happened to me was that I was driving home from LA in the storm, and my windshield wipers just randomly stopped working. On the 5 South in the fast lane, no shoulder room. NOT fun! Totally started crying in the car. But I'm alright. Muah!
