CONGRATS to MY Texas Rangers on beating Tampa Bay in five games!

none of these so called '' experts '' gave the Rangers a chance to knock off the mighty Tampa Bay Rays.

I have been a 30+ year loyal fan of the Rangers and had season tickets for over a decade. Stuck with them through thick and thin; mostly thin...haha. So this first ever playoff series win couldn`t be more satisfying .

We have the Yankees next and it should be a very competitive and entertaining series. But no matter what happens in that series I am very proud and happy for the Texas Rangers organization , players and true fans.

There is something to be said about fans who stick with their teams no matter how they compete on the field...

Kudos to you Flock for sticking with your team for so long. Believe me, I have stuck with my Phillies for many years and there were many, many lean years where I thought this franchise would never win another championship. I think it is more gratifying when you have to "suffer" through a lot of tough seasons to finally break through.

If I were the Yankees, I would be a little worried facing the Rangers. Cliff Lee is a "Yankee killer" (especially in the playoffs) and he's at the top of his game right now. I don't know when they have Cliff slotted to pitch though. But yeah, I wouldn't take anything for granted if I were the Yankees.

It definitely should be 2 very interesting championship series in mlb this season.

Flock your a dying breed with people moving so much it's harder to stay with a team like the old days. I was happy the Rangers won it for 2 reason one I hate Ray fans all 4000 of them that fill up the studium come playoff time and ring those stinkin cowbells. Second I want Cliff back in Philly I rather him be on the Philly's but I think he'll get a great ovation.

It's so refreshing to see a 'real' fan who sticks with the team in good or bad, unlike those flaky 'fair weather fans' who only call themselves 'fans' when their team is winning.

Just so you know, I know Flock and I know he sticks by his Rangers as well as the Stars and Mavericks and also the Cowboys. He is DEFINATELY NOT a johnny come lately. You are absolutely right TFStudio. Too many fans call themselves fans of teams when they are winniing. Me...I have been a true Mets fan since 1971. And if you look, te Mets have lost a hell of a lot more than they have won over those years. So Kudos to Flock and is team. Now I hope his team goes out and destroys the Yankees! :boogie:
