Congratulations to the 2007 World Champion Boston Red Sox. I watched the last few innings of tonight's game.
In 2004, the big story was winning it all after the 86 year drought. This year, they were probably the dominant team in major league baseball. I'll be honest, after the Indians went up three games to one in the ALCS, I thought the Indians were going to make the World Series, but the Sox came back, and then swept the Rockies four games in a row in the World Series.
It was a great season for the Sox. Now we'll see if they can repeat in 2008.

Great job by the sox. humiliating the rockies in a sweep. but their victory is overshadowed by the brilliance of the Pats!

I hate it, but I have to congratulate the Sox... They played very well.

I'm bummed beyond words about my guys losing, but we got outplayed in every freakin' game. Tonight was the first time it looked like we might do something, but it was too little, too late.

As a long time fan and season ticket holder, tonight was just heart breaking... Of course, this was still an incredible season for the Rox and by far the best baseball I've ever seen in Denver. I'll be back next year and I hope some of those people that jumped on the bandwagon will come back, too...

It was a very well played series. The Rockies should be congratulated for they're season as well

As a native of Beantown, it's a thrill to see the sox win another World Series. I was actually worried before the series that the Rockies were going to wipe the floor with us, but I honestly don't think there was ever a moment where the Rockies were even in the game. I too will be pissed if A-Rod comes anywhere near Boston. Mike Lowell is the man, and should be resigned. boo ya.

I bet Johnny Damon regrets leaving Boston, now! The pinstripes have the highest payroll in baseball and can't even get back to the ALCS.

I definitely think Damons probably kicking himself right now. He meant a lot to this city, and it was a little bit more than a shock to see him go to the dark side... But I'll take Dustin Pedroia and Jacoby Ellsbury over Johnny "Demon" any day ;-)

Right! He's not missed at all! We don't miss him in KC either. He's going to wished he was a Royal now, because we have a new promising manager that's going to turn things around here.
