As people who follow are aware, Bobby Cox, Tony La Russa, and Joe Torre, three of the winningest managers in baseball history, were all elected to the Hall of Fame on Monday.
All three are most deserving, having won many division titles, made many playoff appearances, and, in La Russa and Torre's cases, won multiple World Championships.
It would seem likely that when player elections are held in January, Bobby Cox will be joined in his induction by two of his long time pitchers, 300 game winners Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine.
There will certainly be an excellent class inducted at next year's ceremonies.
Again, Congratulations to all the deserving managers elected on Monday.
