Viper, I'm so happy for you and all Phillies fans. I remember how ecstatic I was when my Braves won the World Series in 1995. I had waited my whole life for it. I felt just as excited tonight.

Hopefully, tonight is the beginning of a great chapter in Phillies history that will lead to many other championship titles.

Although I am a Rays fan, I want to congratulate the Phillies for a terrific season and World Series victory. They earned it, no questions asked.

My Rays had absolutely no offense in the five games, and that is what pretty much killed them. You're not going to win many games when your top two hitting studs (Longoria and Pena) were oh-for-the series combined until game five.

I did love the fact that the Phillies fans booed little Buddy when he presented the Phils management the WS trophy. The man is a tool, plain and simple.

Thank goodness...no one will be jumping off of the bridges. The last 3 innings were the most exciting and entertaining of the series. Way to go Phils...I still can't believe it! And thank you for ending a very long drought...Eagles can learn something from the Phils...I hope.

There's always some bunch of morons that screw things up for everyone else like people like me who enjoy hitting the bar, tossing back a couple of brews, hooting and hollering at the leaving Tampa Bay fans, and generally enjoying ourselves. It's really shameful that people suddenly decide that winning a World Series means we're allowed to destroy porperty.

I guess the only thing that makes it sting less is the fact that it happens in every city - there's always some measure of violence or vandalism when this happens.
