Understood, mils.
The Braves haven't been playing that well lately. They kind of backed in.. in a sense, after building such a big lead in the NL East. I thought at the beginning of the season, with my preseason predictions, that the Nats would win the East, and the Braves would get one of the NL Wild Cards. I'd say both teams were a surprise. The Nats with their disappointing play, and the Braves with their relatively big NL East win, in spite of poor seasons by a lot of their hitters, including most notably the $75 million dollar man, BJ Upton.
Some of the writers in the Atlanta Journal Constitution say that the Braves can't go far in the playoffs, realistically, with their inconsistent hitting, and high strikeout totals for hitters. If they get leads in the ninth, though, it is almost automatic, with Craig Kimbrel.
This will be interesting to watch.
