Coughing fit and headache after tickling

Hey just wondering if I'm the only one. But after getting the crap tickled out of me I have a headache and a cough. Is that just because I need to hydrate? It subsides pretty quickly I've noticed just want to make sure I'm not doing this wrong XD

It happens to some people. If it's not serious, it's probably just that you needed to hydrate. I suggest arranging breaks in between tickling sessions to drink water and catch your breath so you don't have problems later.

It depends on the person too though. Some people just can't handle sessions as long as others or have health problems that affect them.

I know whenever I exert myself too much, it's my asthma kicking in.

I know there had been times where I've been tickled senseless and started coughing. The girl that was tickling me stopped, wiped the sweat off my forehead and brushed the hair to the side that was about to get into my eyes. However, I've never had a headache from it. I don't know. Maybe it was too much all at once? Like someone already mentioned, maybe you should have some breaks after awhile because coughing from tickling really sucks.

I’m a healthcare provider. You may have good lungs but some people have bronchoconstriction during or after exercise, aptly called exercise induced asthma. It can present with coughing fits which can in turn cause headaches. An inhaler with a bronchodilator (albuterol) used as you start your session could prevent the coughing fits.

Of course, I haven’t met you or examined you but this is what I would consider if you showed up at my office.
