there is talk on the news how there is a tickle spa that just opened in Spain...is that something that could ever work in the U.S.? Would you need to be licensed to offer it as a therapy? I actually emailed several news people about the spa in spain and the thought of it opening in the US. most of them replied saying they would cover a story if one opened up near them...Would anyone open a spa and offer this as a service?

It seems to me (being an American this is just a theory) that from what I see, certain parts of Europe in general tend to be more accepting of alternative shtuff. Nudity, sexuality, not shaving your armpits....haha

But anywho, I think it might work in somewhere like New York, where it would become a cool new fad as opposed to some bumfuck town in the middle of nowhere. (Obvious point, but you catch my drift). You'd need a large population of fairly open minded people who have seen weirder things, so again, it's location location location. Plus, there seems to be a large population of tickle folk down there.

I think it would work here in NYC. Especially in my neighborhood. :feets:

milagros, I think all of us want this in our neighborhood. So we could "work" there. Well, be employed there. It would be ridiculously overstaffed and become a sort of unisex vision of what I imagine happens at Castle Anthrax when the camera crews leave and someone "accidentally" lights the Grail-shaped beacon. 😉

This would work in San Francisco, for sure. Hell, it'd be the tamest place in the city.

Being a licensed massage therapist myself I can see this becoming dangerous REAL quick. lol! The last thing a place needs is to be labeled anything other than therapeutic when it comes to anything "spa" related. Once a place becomes a target, it's nearly impossible to get credibility back.

I definitely love the idea though, in theory it's awesome! 😉 lol!
